“…Developmental stage 47-48 tadpoles (ϳ8 -12 days postfertilization) were used for all experiments. For experiments that involve recording from both superficial-layer and deep layer neurons, the horizontal brain slice preparation was performed as described by Hamodi and Pratt (2015).
