The effectiveness of the use of alternative fertilizers in the conditions of the Chuvash Republic

This article studied organic fertilizers obtained from physically and mechanically stimulated peat. The conceptual difference of this formulation from analogs lies in its environmental safety, and humates and humic acids are extracted from the feedstock as fully as possible. We studied the effect of pretreatment of seeds with liquid humic fertilizer on plant growth and development, and found that this fertilizer in low concentrations when growing grain and legumes has a positive effect on the water-physical properties of soil, soil and plant microflora, on increasing mobility reserves of nutrients in the soil, as well as to improve the diet of plants. Consequently, the development and implementation of organic safe humic fertilizers is an urgent area for crop production and food production.

Modeling of soot formation in a tractor diesel engine running on methanol and methyl ether of rapeseed oil

When studying the process of formation of soot nuclei in a flame, it is necessary to pay attention to the sequence of chemical transformations of fuel molecules in order to determine the concentration of dangerous toxic components in the exhaust gases (EG) of a diesel internal combustion engine (DICE). Today, numerous studies are being conducted to establish a detailed kinetic mechanism of the process of carbon condensation and gasification in a DICE. Despite significant progress in understanding the essence and some regularities of the processes occurring in a DICE, it is not yet possible to compile a numerical model that can predict the main indicators of soot content. A semi-empirical mathematical model of soot formation and burnout in a DICE is presented, compiled on the basis of a kinetic model that reliably predicts the dynamics of soot content in the cylinder and the concentration of soot in the EG in a wide range of operating modes of a DICE. The model makes it possible to facilitate the process of studying the factors of soot formation and reduce the cost of conducting experimental studies related to the search for alternative fuels and improving the design of a DICE, optimizing the operation of fuel supply and gas distribution systems.

Heat exchange by radiation in the working space of high-temperature combustion chambers is the predominant type of heat exchange, depending both on the temperature of the flame and on its emissivity. As is known, a luminous flame differs from a non-luminous one in that it emits thermal energy not selectively within the CO 2 and H 2 O bands, but over the entire spectrum, including the visible region. Moreover, it is in the visible region of the glowing flame of natural gas that a significant amount of thermal energy is emitted. This is explained by the fact that the dispersed phase (soot), which arose during the decomposition of methane, contains particles of such sizes (0.05-0.2 microns), which are characterized by maximum radiation in the visible and near-infrared regions of the spectrum. Thus, the emissivity of a luminous flame is significantly higher than the emissivity of a non-luminous flame. This ability of the luminous flame is the reason for its use in diesel internal combustion engines (DICE).
