The effect of sikkam (Bischofia javanica) leaf extract on blood sugar levels and islet of langerhans in alloxan-induced diabetic rats

Abstract: Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disease characterized by hyperglycemia, occurring due to abnormal insulin secretion or insulin action. Alloxan induces diabetes by damaging pancreatic cells and initiating hyperglycemia.
