Objective:To explore use of metacognitive skills by medical teachers in relation to Zimmerman’s model of self-regulation.Methods:A qualitative phenomenological study was conducted at Riphah International University from February 2017 to August 2017. A semi structured interview of ten medical teachers was planned to uncover the lived experiences of selected teachers to demonstrate how these teachers use metacognitive strategies in different phases of learning. Data was collected by asking five open ended questions after expert validation. Data was analyzed by using N-Vivo software.Results:Total eight themes were extracted. For prediction and planning three themes, brainstorming, making concept map and sufficient time required were isolated while teachers selected learning objectives and level of students for resource selection while for motivation theme selected was previous experience. Two themes, self- questioning to improve the learning and extra effort required to meet the timeline were isolated for monitoring and reflection during and after learning for evaluation of learning process.Conclusion:During forethought phase, medical teachers predict their learning process through learning objectives and plan after brainstorming to make a concept map and use suitable learning resources. During learning, they monitor learning process through self-questioning and put extra-effort to meet the deadlines. During and after learning, teachers reflect on their performance.

This research aims to examine the effect of problem based learning (PBL) integrated brainstorming learning method on students' creative thinking skill. The method used in this research is Quasi Experimental with Pre-test and Post-test Control Group design. The sampling techniqueused in this research is purposive sampling namely 23 students in IX A and 23 in IX D. The instrument applied in this study is a creative thinking test that is made in accordance with the indicators of creative thinking based on Munandar. To analyzethe data, the researcher uses independent sample T test. The research result showed that there is a significant difference of problem based learning (PBL) integrated brainstorming learning method for students' creative thinking skill.

The process of writing has been seen as a problem for many students. This problem because students do not have the ability to develop ideas, creative solution. One of the methods to develop their ideas in writing by using Brainstorming Methods. Not only it, students have opportunities to develop their ideas using Jamboard in Education 4.0, especially it is suitable media in pandemic era. This research taught by brainstorming strategy using (Jamboard Application in Education 4.0), it is help students to develop innovative teaching strategies (brainstorming and concept mapping) on improving the students’ writing ability and creative thinking skill. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to the identify the methods applied by writing students’ ability through brainstorming methods towards English learning achievement in 2013 curriculum. The data were collected through observational used tests and questionnaires. The total samples used in this study were 38 students consisting of class XI IPS 1 of Public Senior High School in Subang. This research used an experimental method with the design of One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Moreover, considering, should provide more students to help them able to use the best techniques in teaching learning process online by using brainstorming methods (Jamboard in Education 4.0).
