Antirheumatic and analgesics drugs are the most commonly prescribed medications for treatment of acute and chronic pain. Frequent application of these agents often causes adverse effects. So, in order to avoid the incidence of side effects, topical analgesics are treatment of choice for localized muscle pain. Topical analgesics offer the potential to provide the same analgesic relief provided by oral analgesics but with minimal adverse systemic effects. The aim of this study is to present the preparation and characterization of topical analgesic gel named "Russian water". Gel is composed of Menthol, Benzocaine, Procaine HCl as topical analgesic agents indicated for temporary relief of pain. Obtained results showed prolonged analgesic effect compared with liquid ethanol solution composed of the same components.

Kratak sadržajIzrada galenskih i magistralnih lekova, kao jednog vida farmaceutske delatnosti, delimično je regulisana zakonskim/podzakonskim propisima i odgovarajućim standardima. U Republici Srbiji izrada i promet galenskih lekova odvija se u skladu sa Obeležavanje galenskih lekova u Srbiji je regulisano odgovarajućim pravilnicima, što nije slučaj sa obeležavanjem magistralnih lekova. U SAD je obeležavanje magistralnih lekova definisano u određenim poglavljima/monografijama USP, državnih/saveznih zakona, vodiča za dobru praksu u izradi magistralnih lekova, a na sličan način je regulisano i u zemljama EUzakonskim propisima, dodacima farmakopeja, odgovarajućim vodičima, kao i Rezolucijom CM/ResAP(2011)1.Obeležavanje lekova je suštinsko za bezbednost pacijenta. Signatura na leku omogućava njegovu identifikaciju i ukazuje pacijentu na koji način da taj lek koristi i koliki je njegov rok upotrebe. Pravilno obeležavanje magistralnih lekova je naročito važno za prihvatanje preparata od strane pacijenta i može imati značajan uticaj na njihovu bezbednu primenu i adherencu. Predlog za obeležavanje magistralnih lekova treba da potekne iz Farmaceutske komore Srbije i bude upućen Republičkoj stručnoj komisiji za farmaciju koja bi ga razmotrila i prosledila Ministarstvu zdravlja Republike Srbije.Ključne reči: magistralni lekovi, galenski lekovi/preparati, obeležavanje lekova, propisi

Rev.Introdução: Pacientes pediátricos representam um grande desafio quanto a adesão à farmacoterapia, especialmente quando sólidos orais são prescritos. Cápsulas ou comprimidos não são adequados para crianças e contribuem para a prescrição de medicamentos não licenciados para esta faixa etária. Neste contexto, considerar a preparação do fármaco em outra forma de apresentação é atribuição do profissional farmacêutico. Objetivo: Propor a preparação de pós medicamentosos divididos contendo 6,25 mg de captopril destinados à reconstituição imediatamente antes do uso. Métodos: Inicialmente, o captopril grau farmacêutico foi submetido a ensaios de controle de qualidade e os excipientes foram selecionados com base na solubilidade. A qualidade do captopril foi avaliada empregando métodos descritos em compêndios oficiais ou validados, para descrição (aspecto), identificação (espectrofotometria na região do infravermelho), pesquisa da pureza (faixa de fusão, pesquisa de solubilidade e pH) e análise do teor (doseamento por ultravioleta). As preparações foram obtidas por diluição geométrica. Resultados: O captopril matéria-prima e os pós divididos cumpriram com os requisitos de qualidade. O uso de sacarose e sorbitol pó como diluentes únicos, bem como o emprego da associação dos mesmos com a lactose, mostrou ser viável para a preparação das formulações, uma vez que originaram soluções límpidas, claras, sem partículas em suspensão e adocicadas. Conclusões: Os resultados de controle de qualidade demonstraram a possibilidade da preparação de pós medicamentosos divididos contendo 6,25 mg de captopril, contribuindo para minimizar a carência de informações acerca de formulações anti-hipertensivas para uso pediátrico.Palavras-Chave: pediatria, captopril, pós medicamentosos divididos ABSTRACT Background: Pediatric patients require different dosage forms from adults due to differences in swallowing capacities, taste preferences, and dosage requirements. Most medicines are produced for adults as capsules and tablets. These formulations are not suitable for children, which often leads to off-label and unlicensed use of adult medicines. These preparations are often prescribed by pediatricians due to the absence of others replace them. In this context, consider the drug preparation in another pharmaceutical dosage form is the responsibility of the pharmacist. Objective: The aim of this study was to design solid dosage forms containing captopril for prior solubilization in small volumes of water before administration. Solid dosage forms are more stable than liquids and the reconstituted solutions can be sweetened and flavored.
