The application of genetic algorithm for optimal control the oil well mode in case of one-phase flow in porous media

Abstract: Authors propose to use the genetic algorithm as direct optimization method for optimal control of petroleum well mode in case of single-phase flow. In this work, a conventional finite-difference approximation is used to describe the reservoir. The objective was minimization of residual reservoir energy provided that planned cumulative oil production is satisfied.
