Abstract

The language and discourse that the media uses to represent terrorism can be designed to provide social reconciliation, to establish peace, as well as to create irritation in public or to serve terrorism purposes. The aim of this study is to reveal the reflection of the publishing policies and ideological structures adopted by media organizations to the language and news discourse used in the presentation of news about terror attack. In this
