-In this study an attitude scale towards the subject of pressure and buoyant force of the physics course was developed for high school students. 52 items, prepared by using students' views on the subject were reduced to 44 items after taking the experts opinions. The scale was prepared as 5 point Likert type. The analysis was carried out by using the data of the 804 high school students who were taught the subject of pressure and buoyant force. In exploratory factor analysis, it was decided that there were four factors and items, which were inappropriate, were excluded. The variance of scale consisting of 31 questions and four factors is %56. Factors were named as anxiety, interest, importance and self-efficacy. Consistency of the model was analyzed by using confirmatory factor analysis. As a result of the necessary modifications, fit indices provided acceptable conformity criterias. Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient was 0.913 for anxiety, 0.922 for interest, 0.847 for importance and 0.711 for self-efficacy.
