Synthesis of some novel azido/tetrazolothienopyrimidines and their reduction to 2,4‐diaminothieno[2,3‐d]pyrimidines

Abstract: A variety of novel 2,4‐diaminothieno[2,3‐d]pyrimidines has been prepared through the reduction of the corresponding azido/tetrazolothienopyrimidines under acidic conditions.
