“…(A) could not be observed, suggesting that all the hydroxyl groups of HO‐PBS‐OH had reacted. Meanwhile, a new single resonance peak was observed at δ 1.95 ppm, which was assigned to the methyl protons (signal e) of 2‐bromoisobutyryl groups . Finally, the copolymer of PMPC‐ b ‐PBS‐ b ‐PMPC was synthesized by ATRP using Br‐PBS‐Br as a macro‐initiator.…”

“…In further advancement, dual responsive graft copolymer of TG and synthetic amphiphilic copolymer was synthesized by combining ring opening polymerization, atomic transfer radical polymerization, and click reaction. [ 38 ] The pH‐dependent in vitro release of QC from the graft copolymer was observed with a two‐phase‐release profile. A rapid release was observed during initial 5 h of release time and followed by sustained and slow release, with the cumulative release reaching ≈90% at pH 2.2 after 30 h. Another study involved the graft functionalization of TG with PAA using ascorbic acid‐potassium persulfate as initiator and glutaraldehyde as crosslinker.…”

“…The carboxyl groups undergo dehydration leading to the formation of an anhydride structure. The degradation beyond 300 °C (step III) may be assigned to main‐chain degradation where carboxyl and hydroxyl groups may undergo decomposition leading to char formation in the range 20–30% for all samples …”
