“…The XRD patterns were indexed to a mixed phase of NiO (PDF# 44‐1159), MnCo 2 O 4 (PDF# 84‐0482), and Ni 6 MnO 8 (PDF# 49‐1295). Furthermore, NiCl 2 ⋅ x H 2 O was observed in the XRD pattern, which was mainly generated from the chloridization of NiO by gaseous HCl in the furnace reactor .
