“…We chose NaLa(WO 4 ) 2 as the host because that tungstate has numerous benefits, such as good thermal stability, environmental safety, a simple synthesis process, and low synthesis temperature (~1000°C). [12][13][14] In particular, the tungstate root [WO 4 ] 2− has good blue absorption and emission bands, which contributes to cross-energy level transitions. Moreover, in NaLa(WO 4 ) 2 , the La 3+ (0.106 nm) has a similar 4f energy structure and ion radius to that of Dy 3+ (0.091 nm) and Eu 3+ (0.096 nm) ions, which makes the doping process easier without breaking the initial crystal field.…”
