“…along with a carboxylate moiety [5][6][7][8][9][10]. In our previous work, we have reported several novel organotin complexes, including a macrocycle containing five tin nuclei with heterocyclic sulfur and nitrogen donor ligands and macrocyclic complexes containing three and eighteen tin nuclei with 2-mercaptonicotinic [11,12], as well as a novel 2D network polymer containing 60-membered organotin macrocycles [13]. To continue our research on organotin(IV) complex in this field, we chose another carboxylic acid ligand: 6-chloro-3-pyridineacetic acid.…”

“…1. The complex 1 forms an infinite coordination polymer The structure of the 3-fold hydrolysis ladder is very similar to the complex in the literature [18,19], which features a centrosymmetric core arranged as a ladder. Each bridging oxygen atom in the Sn 2 O 2 ring attaches with three additional Bu 2 Sn units to the four-member Sn 2 O 2 ring, and as a result these oxygen atoms are three-coordinate.…”

“…Out of above consideration, also as a part of our studies on coordination chemistry of heterocyclic thiones with organotin(IV) complexes [10][11][12][13], we report here on the syntheses and characterizations of four trialkyltin complexes with 2-mercaptopyrimidine (HSpym) and 4-amino-2-mercaptopyrimidine (HSapym) of the type R 3 SnL (L=Spym, R=Ph, 1; R=PhCH 2 , 2; L=Sapym, R=Ph, 3; R=PhCH 2 , 4). All the complexes 1-4 have been characterized by elemental, IR, 1 H NMR, and X-ray crystallography diffraction analyses, which revealed that the structures of 1-4 are penta-coordinated with R 3 Sn-coordinated to the thiol S and heterocyclic N atoms, and the structural distortion for each is a displacement from tetragonal toward trigonal bipyramidal geometry.…”
