“…From the above values (Table 5), it is found that all the metal complexes tested in this study behaved as more effective inhibitors than the standard scavenging agent, butylated hydroxy anisole (BHA) for O 2 − , OH and NO radicals and are compared with that of the other nickel complexes. 53,62 In general, the antioxidant activity of synthesised compounds against the free radicals O 2 − , OH and NO decreased in the order 6 > 5 > 4 > 3 > 2 > 1.
