Abstract: Antibacterial activity of a CLF nanohybrid against E. coli 949 ESBL cefotaxime-resistant bacteria via the interaction of penicillin binding protein.

“…Komarala et al. established a cefotaxime (Cefo)‐intercalated Mg‐Al LDH‐fenugreek (CLF) nanohybrid and observed comparable antibacterial efficacy of the nanohybrid towards both E. coli and cefotaxime resistance extended spectrum beta‐lactamase E. coli ( E. coli ESBL) (Figure h), whereas E. coli ESBL can survive under an equivalent concentration of Cefo only .
