After neutralization with acetic acid, 3 mL acetic anhydride and 3 mL pyridine were added into the residue at 100°C and reacted for 1 h. The alditol acetate derivatives were analysed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS; Shimadzu Co.
