This study aims to find out how to evaluate the Home Visit Program as strengthening character education at SMK YPUI Parung. This study uses a qualitative method with the CIPP model. The subjects of this study were taken from Guidance and Counseling coordinators, students, and school principals at SMK YPUI Parung. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The observation method in this study uses participatory methods. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, data conclusion. The results of the research show that: (1) in terms of context, the components are background, specific objectives, and program development (2) in terms of input it is quite good, consisting of program target components, elements involved, and the role of the teacher (3) in terms of process, that of the five components, and only three are of good value. While the other two are less valuable. Components which include materials, methods, obstacles, and how to evaluate the evaluation system to develop character values are quite good. While the program implementation methods and efforts to develop character values are not good (4) in terms of products, both components are quite good. This component consists of program achievements and program evaluation.

This study aims to determine how the evaluation of the Home Visit Program as a reinforcement of character education in SMK (Vocational School). This study uses a qualitative method with CIPP model. The subjects of this study were taken from the Guidance dan Counseling coordinator, students, and school principal in SMK. This research examines the concretization of the character of the santri through culture at the North Padang Lawas Islamic Boarding School which was formed through a continuous process of pesantren education so that it is firmly rooted in the identity of the santri. The approach used in this research is a case study at Islamic boarding schools in North Padang Lawas Regency. Sources of data were taken through primary data sources, namely asatidz administrators, students, and secondary sources obtained from documents and images related to research. Researchers as actors. As for data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that: (1) The character building of the students at the North Padang Lawas Regency Islamic Boarding School is through education in the yellow book, educational habits, educational advice, attention to education and education through activities in the Islamic boarding school. (2) Centric character is formed through the culture of the pesantren at the North Padang Lawas Regency Islamic Boarding School, namely caring for the environment, hard work, cooperation, responsibility, togetherness, creativity, confidence, cohesiveness, caring, mutual cooperation, solidarity, tolerance, vulnerability, honesty, curiosity, respecting the opinions of others, mutual respect, tolerance, not arrogant, accepting what is, caring, discipline, not wasting time, diligent, tenacious, humble, maintain behavior.
