Large-scale sport events help attract a wide range of attendees, resulting in various implications for the host community. This paper is concerned with understanding the legacy of the 13th EHF European Handball Championship, held in Croatia in January 2018, by assessing the event’s economic and social benefits and costs. Drawing on the Social Exchange Theory, it also examines if any significant differences exist between host city residents and non-host city residents regarding their perceived impacts of this event on the host cities. The number of impacts was reduced by Exploratory Factor Analysis. Differences between host city and non-host city residents were examined by an independent samples t-test. The results suggest that community development and pride, security risks, traffic problems, economic benefits, environmental concerns, and economic costs are the main impact dimensions. Non-host city residents expressed a higher level of agreement with most of the impacts, but significant differences exist primarily within the dimensions of community development and pride, economic benefits, traffic problems, and environmental concerns. These findings could benefit event planners and sport marketers when trying to acquire community-wide support and to better understand how residents perceive both the positive and negative impacts that events generate.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the availability of facilities and infrastructure for Sports and Health Physical Education in SMA, MA and SMK Negeri Kota Kediri. The subjects of this study were 8 schools and used random sampling techniques. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that for physical education and sports facilities, namely 7 schools for proper volleyball equipment, 6 schools for proper soccer equipment, 8 schools for proper gymnastics equipment, 8 schools for proper athletic equipment. Overall, it is said to be feasible and for Physical Education and Sports infrastructure, which is suitable for 2 schools and those that are less feasible, 6 schools of the total are said to be less feasible. Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan di SMA, MA dan SMK Negeri Kota Kediri. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 8 sekolah dan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk sarana Pendidikan Jasmani dan Olahraga yaitu peralatan bolavoli yang layak sebanyak 7 sekolah, peralatan sepakbola yang layak sebanyak 6 sekolah, peralatan bolabasket yang layak 8 sekolah, peralatan senam yang layak 8 sekolah, peralatan atletik yang layak 8 sekolah dari keseluruhan dikatakan layak dan untuk prasarana Pendidikan Jasmani dan Olahraga yaitu yang layak 2 sekolah dan yang kurang layak 6 sekolah dari keseluruhan dikatakan kurang layak.

The development of sport tourism requires the collaborative engagement of sport, tourism, and other diverse sectors and stakeholders. Sport tourism collaboration has received much attention from academic scholars. This study conducted a systemic quantitative review of sport tourism collaboration. In total, 40 peer-reviewed academic manuscripts published in English-language journals between 1996 and February 2020 were considered, based on predefined criteria, and reviewed in order to address several research objectives. More precisely, this review was intended to systematically and quantitatively examine the bibliographic information, theoretical frameworks, research designs and methods, key issues, and the nature of the findings of the selected manuscripts. The study revealed that a wide range of less geographically diverse authors along with few fielddedicated scholars were engaged in publishing research outputs on sport tourism collaboration terrain in a substantial number of journals. The sampled studies were qualitative and conceptual research driven with limited use of theoretical frameworks. This study also found that most of the selected manuscripts focused on sport, sporting events, and sport tourism, along with mutual work and management-related concepts. Finally, future research directions are identified to address the research gaps. Notable future directions indicate additional quantitative and mixed methods research is necessary for bringing methodological diversity and advancing sport tourism collaboration scholarship with more generalised findings and cases. In addition, functional level sport tourism collaboration, design and implementation of strategy for sport tourism collaboration after COVID 19, and leadership processes of sport tourism collaboration need to be examined within established theories from various disciplines.
