Resumen: En la actualidad es cada vez más común escuchar a autoridades gubernamentales comentando acerca de cuál es la forma adecuada de "vivir bien" o de cómo se puede "vivir sano". En Chile, en el año 2013 se creó la Ley Elige Vivir Sano (EVS), la cual propone generar un cambio cultural de la población, promoviendo el deporte y la actividad física como promotores de salud. Bajo un marco de referencia de la biopolítica y de la gubernamentalidad, en esta investigación se realiza un análisis de discurso a diversos documentos oficiales que construyen el discurso de EVS. Los resultados muestran que la construcción discursiva de EVS promueve una individualización del cuidado de la salud junto con la promoción del deporte y la actividad física acordes a la ideología neoliberal. Asimismo se discute respecto al tiempo libre y a las condiciones materiales que permiten o no llevar una vida sana Abstract: It is increasingly common to hear governmental authorities commenting on the proper way to "live well" or how to "live healthy". The so-called Choose to Live Healthy Law (Elige Vivir Sano, EVS) was created in Chile in 2013. It proposes cultural change for the population by advancing sport and physical activity as health promoters. Under a biopolitics and governmentality framework, this study uses discourse analysis to understand several official documents that build the EVS discourse. The results show that the EVS discursive construction promotes individualization of health care while advancing sport and physical activity in line with neoliberal ideology. It also discusses spare time and material conditions may allow a healthy life or not.Resumo: Na atualidade, é cada vez mais comum ouvir autoridades governamentais opinando sobre qual seria a maneira correta de se "viver bem" ou como se pode levar uma "vida saudável". No Chile, em 2013 foi criada a Lei "Escolha uma Vida Saudável" (EVS), que propõe uma mudança cultural à população, estimulando o esporte e a atividade física como promotores de saúde. A partir de um quadro de referências relativas à biopolítica e à governamentalidade, esta pesquisa realiza uma análise do discurso de vários documentos oficiais que constroem o discurso de EVS. Os resultados mostram que a construção discursiva de EVS promove uma individualização dos cuidados de saúde, juntamente com uma promoção do esporte e da atividade física em conformidade com a ideologia neoliberal. O trabalho também discute o tempo livre e as condições materiais que permitem ou não levar-se uma vida saudável.

(2013 (1984) framework is presented not so much as a prescription to 'good practice', but as a potential way to raise the profile and somewhat problematise the debate about touching as a part of coaching. The second objective of the paper is to further the case for visual methods, and in particular photography, as a means to address and explore the complexities and nuance of touch in pedagogical, and more precisely coaching, settings. The focus here draws attention to the constrained and spontaneous nature of existence. Here, a debate is also presented both about the often assumed 'realist' nature of the data, and on the use of precise theoretical explanations to clarify and rationalize them. The final goal relates to presenting some images of coaches' practice as related to both caring and touching.

“…Based on this research, it has been suggested that coach-athlete sexual relationships can harm athletes' wellbeing, jeopardise athletic careers and performance ability, disrupt team dynamics, debilitate gender equality in sport, and also that an acceptance of such sexual relationships increases the risk of sexual exploitation (Brake, 2012;Kirby et al, 2000;Reaves, 2001;Toftegaard Nielsen, 2001;Volkwein et al, 1997). Meanwhile, additional literature suggest that mistrust of coaches motives related to fear of sexual abuse and harmful physical touch generate negative outcomes for coach-athlete interaction and more widely for sport policy and practice (Garratt et al, 2012, Lang, 2010Piper et al, 2012a;2012b). There is, however, no comprehensive research within the sociology of sport into coach-athlete sexual relationships outside the sexual abuse context.…”

Coach-athlete romantic relationships and consensual sexual relations are commonly accepted among coaches and athletes, although a growing number of sport organisations discourage or prohibit such relationships. In research, coach-athlete sexual relationships are lumped together with sexual abuse, suggested to harm athletes' wellbeing, performance, athletic career and team dynamics, and to inherently constitute an abuse of power, trust and ethics. Additionally, mistrust of coaches' motives, related to physical touch and fear of sexual misconduct, has resulted in a growing anxiety among coaches. This paper highlights and critically discusses research conceptualisations, contextual understandings and critical issues surrounding coach-athlete sexual relationships, on which there is no comprehensive research outside the sexual abuse context. Studies of authority-subordinate romantic relationships in other social settings have reported that such relationships facilitate both positive and negative characteristics and outcomes. To prevent and reduce harm and to promote wellbeing, functionality and safe practice in coach-athlete sexual and non-sexual relationships, Isuggest that comprehensive research outside the sexual abuse context is required. In addition to the previous research focus on harmful and abusive relationships, coach-athlete sexual relationships that are experienced as consenting and mutually fulfilling by the involved parties need further examination.
