Spectroscopic Estimation of Cefepime by using Batch, Cloud Point extraction and Flow Injection Analysis methods

Abstract: New simple sensitive spectrophotometric methods are developed for determination of cefepime (CFM) in pure and Pharmaceutical Formulations. The first method conversion primary amine to azo-dye by react cefepime with sodium nitrite and hydrochloric acid followed by coupling with 2,6-dimethylphenol in alkaline medium to obtain a stable reddish-orange colored dye at λ max 515nm.
