“…When skin in volvement is present in chronic granulocytic leukemia the specific leukemia infiltrates appear as macules, papules, or tumors which range in color from pink and redbrown to purple and sometimes as erythema nodosum-like lesions [3]. They have been noted to have a predilection for the trunk and extremities [4], Biopsy reveals a diffuse cellular infiltration of the corium and subcu taneous tissue with confluent masses of granulocytes about the sweat glands, adi pose tissue, blood vessels and hair follicles [5]. The most effective treatment of the skin eruptions is control of the basic disease with chemotherapy.…”
