Spatiotemporal Differentiation of Land Ecological Security and Its Influencing Factors: A Case Study in Jinan, Shandong Province, China

Abstract: Land ecological security plays an important role in the sustainable land resources utilization and social economic development. In this study, the Pressure-State-Response (PSR) model was constructed to measure the land ecological security pattern based on grids scale of Jinan from 2006 to 2016. Then, Moran’s index was used to explore the spatial autocorrelation of the land ecological security score. Finally, the driving factors of land ecological security pattern differentiation in Jinan were revealed by using… Show more

“…Almost every city in the world, regardless of its size, is affected by land pressure, which is a result of the development of human society itself. Land use in different regions naturally presents different states and produces different effects, and changes with the change in land pressure as a result of the natural endowment of land resources in different regions and the pressure on economic development (Chen et al, 2021;Liu et al, 2022), food production (Jiang et al, 2018;Gao et al, 2022;, and ecological protection (Hao and Li, 2014;Chen et al, 2021;Liu et al, 2022;Zhao et al, 2022).…”

“…Given a set of those, we interviewed the experts, managers, operators, and workers on site and screened the key indicators in order to enhance the implementation and application of the indicators system in practice. The detailed calculation process is omitted here because the method is popular and mature and is applied in a lot of literature (Saaty, 1990;Zhou et al, 2006;Liu et al, 2022). Then, the set of the key indicators is constituted based on the data availability and the applicability of the indicator system.…”
