Abstract: RESUMOA cinética e a sorção de pesticidas em solos permitem predizer a velocidade com que esta reação atinge o equilíbrio e investigar os possíveis mecanismos envolvidos durante a reação. Portanto, esses processos são fundamentais para que se possa compreender o destino dos pesticidas no solo. “…Porém, a chegada da molécula a esses diferentes destinos é de complexa avaliação, uma vez que sofre influência de vários fatores como: condições climáticas, propriedades físico-químicas do pesticida e do solo etc. Entre as propriedades do solo, destaca-se a matéria orgânica, que pode tanto acelerar a degradação do pesticida, por estimular nutricionalmente a microbiota, quanto torná-lo mais persistente ao solo, por adicionar a ele sítios de sorção (REGITANO et al, 2002). Como os herbicidas são tipicamente usados quando a cultura está ausente ou nos primeiros estágios de desenvolvimento, eles alcançam o solo exposto mais freqüentemente que os fungicidas e inseticidas (SEGUERS et al, 2003), sendo, portanto, extremamente relevante o estudo de seus efeitos nesse ambiente.…”
