“…After heating at 750 °C, the OH − absorption bands disappeared; Moreover, the spectrum of the sample treated at 750°C contains features from β-TCP, i.e. band shoulders around 1019, 1112 cm −1 [23], and also we note the presence of three bands situated at 490, 550 and 594 cm −1 witch belongs to triply degenerate ν 4 O-P-O bending mode in the phosphate group. As shown in Figure 4, the characteristic peaks of β-TCP can be detected more obviously for the sample calcined at 1000°C, along with the absence of all peaks belonged to carbonate which means that we obtain a free carbonate structure at this temperature.…”
