“…This paper conforms to the results of Chun et al (2010) who found that the realization of broad benefits obtained by organizations which effectively use social media has not been achieved because organizations tend to use social media for information dissemination only. The absence of the social media uses for twoway communication and the development of social media platforms for innovative activities by the government sue to concerns about values, beliefs, resources, and risks (Omar et al, 2014). The existing literature is still limited to the fact that the government uses social media as an interactive two-way communication tool (Reddick et al, 2017), while this study finds that social media is utilized by the government primarily to provide information to the citizens rather than interacting with them.…”
