“…Previous studies have shown that additional flow information can be obtained by introducing simultaneous (frame-correlated) biplane image sequences. 3 Standard biplane x-ray imaging is used to visualize the static 3-dimensional vascular structure; the proposed high-speed method enables visualization of flow detail in two views, where each detector acquisition is synchronized to the other. Compared to previous work, which highlighted the beginning of dual simultaneous biplane acquisitions, this work highlights the improvement of non-orthogonal acquisitions for vessel visualization and improved visualization of flow dynamics.…”
