Virtual reality technologies are actively applied for the organization of professional training in various industries, as well as in distance learning. However, numerous studies show the presence of a large number of negative factors that limit the effectiveness of using these technologies (united by the concept of "cybersickness"). The study, identification and reduction in the influence of these negative factors will increase the immersiveness and quality of the professional training process. Within the framework of this study, several hypotheses have been put forward regarding the negative and positive impact of VR technologies on the process of professional training, the coal and mining industry has been chosen as the subject area. Thus, the problem of effective training of miners for activities in regular and emergency situations is considered, in the latter case, VR technologies would allow forming the necessary set of skills and knowledge about actions in emergency situations. To confirm the declared hypotheses, an experimental group of 30 people was formed, corresponding to the trained miners by age characteristics. Based on the analysis, a list of quantitative and qualitative metrics for evaluating interaction with virtual reality was formed, the software of virtual scenes for two tasks (moving simple objects and a set of exercises in a virtual mine) was developed. The experimental group repeatedly performed these exercises, which allowed us to analyze the dynamics of changes in the average values of quantitative and qualitative metrics. The data obtained were processed by statistical tests (Shapiro–Wilk, Kruskal–Wallis, Mann–Whitney), which allowed us to assess the impact of the selected configurations (with and without VR) and the number of attempts on the selected metrics. The obtained results partially or completely confirmed the declared hypotheses and allowed us to form a list of recommendations for the organization of high-quality professional training using virtual reality technologies. The article discusses the main aspects of the application of mathematical modeling methods to analyze the properties of 6-DOF robotic mobility platforms (RMP), which can be used as complete test benches and simulators for testing various equipment, road construction equipment, vehicles, aviation, rocket and space. The application of simulators made it possible to create a virtual environment for user interaction with a special type of equipment that responds to commands like a real one. In addition, the article considers a numerical method for solving the inverse kinematics problem of the RMP, which consists in determining the dependence of the change in the lengths of six drive rods (rectilinear drives) on six coordinates (three translational and three rotational) characterizing the position of the mobile platform in space. The mathematical modeling of the RMP kinematics has been carried out. Data on the required linear and angular position of the mobile platform of the RMP, as well as the position of the rods and the speed of the rods of the drive mechanisms based on electric cylinders are selected as initial data for calculating the RMP control system. As a result of the simulation, a corresponding sample is obtained. The corresponding maximum and minimum values of the samples are obtained. These values correspond to the requirements for the minimum and maximum stroke of the rod of electric drives that drive the RMP. The results of mathematical modeling for a set of positional parameters of the RMP are presented. Numerical simulation of the optimization task is performed for the selected configuration of geometric parameters of the mobile platform of the RMP.

This article discusses and analyzes mechanisms based on the principles of parallel kinematics, designed to perform various technological actions, with the movement of the executive body along complex spatial trajectories. Mechanisms with parallel structures have wide possibilities for solving various problems of application of equipment and technologies. Promising are the tasks associated with the use of mobile bases in various simulators to gain skills in controlling equipment (aircraft, cars, specialized military equipment). To conduct research on kinematic and dynamic characteristics, a digital layout of the platform has been developed – a parameterized 3D model in a CAD system. The platform represents a system with six degrees of mobility, which are implemented on the basis of a mechanism with a parallel structure. A description of a dynamic simulation model with six degrees of mobility developed using the MSC Adams software environment is given. The model is intended for research at the stage of design work in the development of simulators of various vehicles. The developed dynamic model was tested in order to implement a methodology for conducting research on the kinematic and dynamic characteristics of the platform based on simulation modeling. The results determining the capabilities of the model for determining the dynamic and force parameters in individual elements of the platform at the specified geometric parameters of the platform design are presented. The methodology of studying the digital layout of the platform by simulation modeling consisted in the execution of the accepted trajectories by the model, taking into account the technical characteristics of the actuators. At the same time, certain dynamic indicators were recorded and processed. As a result, graphs of changes in velocities and accelerations of the center of mass, as well as force characteristics (the sum of forces applied to the body in the hinge) when performing the corresponding trajectories are constructed.
