Simple synthesis of novel copper metal–organic framework nanoparticles: biosensing and biological applications

Abstract: Novel copper metal organic framework nanoparticles Cu-MOF-NPs (C1) were prepared via two simple alternative methods and confirmed by analytical characterization using mass, IR, Raman, XRD spectrum, HR-TEM and TGA-DSC. Mass spectroscopy revealed the molecular ion peak at 647 m/z for the monomeric unit structure n[Cu(AIP)2(PIY)(H2O)2]·4H2O, the presence of which was further supported by mass fragmentation. The Raman spectrum revealed two separate peaks corresponding to D and G bands of carbon in the structure of… Show more

“…FT‐IR spectroscopy one of the important techniques which used in the characterization of the structures of the compounds . The most significant frequencies of La‐MOF which prepared via M1 and M2 in the IR spectra are shown in (Figure S1; supplementary material) and summarized in (Table ) both spectra were in adequate agreement.…”

“…The main objective of XRD is to determine the suggested structure of the metal complex and considered a further evidence about the structure. Previous reports mentioned that the transition metal complexes commonly are crystalline in nature and/or amorphous in nature with tetrahedral, octahedral or square planar geometry . (Figure S5; supplementary material) shows the XRD patterns of La‐MOF ( M1 and M2) which recorded between 2θ ranging from 3‐80 o .…”

“…A variety of analytical methods, such as enzyme immunoassay (EIA), radioimmunological assays, rapid radioimmunoassay, colorimetric method, have been reported to detection of T3 hormone. Development and establish new methodologies and techniques concerning the screening and quantification of the hormones related to disrupting the endocrine system of humans and other biological targets recently has been a worldwide interest.…”
