“…XRD, Raman, and infrared spectra showed the typical composition of both BC putty and paste: calcium phosphate hydrate, calcium aluminum silicate, tantalum oxide, and zirconium oxide. This result is in agreement with previous studies (Abu Zeid et al, 2018; Alamoudi & Abu Zeid, 2019).…”

“…Since the BCRRM is a pozzolanic material containing calcium hydroxide (Ca[OH] 2 ) (Abu Zeid et al, 2018), the surface pigmentation formed on BC putty and paste surface after CHX treatment was proposed initially to be a paracholoraniline (PCA) (Barbin et al, 2008). Yet, XRD analysis failed to detect PCA, but, it determined the presence of nitrogen‐rich phases including diaminomaleonitrile (C 4 H 4 N 4 ) and 3‐azido‐1,2,4‐triazole (C 2 H 2 N 6 ) on the BC putty surface and hydrazinium 5‐aminotetrazole (N 2 H 5 CN 5 H 2 ) and 1,2,4 triazole (C 2 H 3 N 3 ) on the BC paste surface.…”
