Selektive Pfropfcopolymerisation halogenhaltiger Polymere mittels Titan(III)‐chlorid

Abstract

Die Pfropfung von Styren/Acrylnitril-und Styren/Methylmethacryylat-Mischungen auf chloriertes ataktisches Polypropylen sowie die Pfropfung von Methylmethacrylat auf Polyvinyltrichloracetat lassen sich mit Titan( 111)-chlorid initiieren. Es wird der Einflulj der Struktur der Ruckgratkette, des Losungsmittels und der Titan(II1)-chlorid-Konzentration untersucht. Selective graft copolymerization of halogene-containing polymers by using titanium(III) chlorideGrafting of mixtures of styrene with acrylonitrile or methyl methacrylate on chlorinated atactic polypropylene and grafting of methyl methacrylate on poly(viny1 trichloroacetate) are initiated by titanium(II1) chloride. The influence of the structure of the backbone chain, the solvent and titanium( 111) chloride concentration is investigated.
