Glyphosate, glufosinate, and atrazine do not affect the growth and development of glyphosate and glufosinate-tolerant (RR2/LL) maize; however, the results are less consolidated for these herbicides applied in mixtures. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effects of post-emergent application of glyphosate, glufosinate, and atrazine, alone and in mixtures, on the growth and development of the RR2/LL maize. The treatments consisted of the application of glyphosate (1080 g of acid equivalent [ae] ha-1), glufosinate (500 g of active ingredient [ai] ha-1), atrazine (2000 g [ai] ha-1), glyphosate + glufosinate, glyphosate + atrazine, glufosinate + atrazine, glyphosate + glufosinate + atrazine, and the control (without application). The experiment was carried out in two locations under greenhouse conditions with different maize hybrids. Crop injury and variables of the agronomic performance (height, stem diameter, chlorophyll indexes, fresh and dry weight of shoot, root dry weight, and total dry weight) were evaluated. Herbicides applied alone or in binary mixtures did not cause major damage. However, the application of the three associated herbicides in some situations might result in detrimental effects on the development of the RR2/LL maize.

The aim was to evaluate the selectivity and weed control of herbicides atrazine, nicosulfuron, mesotrione and tembotrione, applied alone and associated, in post-emergence of maize. Were carried out two experiments, one in the field in a randomized complete block design with four replications and eleven treatments, the second in greenhouse in a completely randomized design, with four replications and ten treatments. The treatments were composed of isolated and associated herbicides. Treatments were applied V4 stage of plants. For first experiment, crop injury and control evaluations were performed, as well as variables related to agronomic performance (plant height, ear insertion height, prolificacy index, yield and mass of 1,000 grains) and mass of weeds. For second experiment, evaluations of crop injury, height, diameter and dry mass of plants were performed. The lower yield for experiment one was verified in the treatment where only mesotrione was applied, which was attributed to the lower control of monocotyledons weeds. Crop injury were observed at 21 DAA in both experiments, but not exceeding 7.5%. All treatments were considered selective to maize. The herbicides atrazine, nicosulfuron, mesotrione and tembotrione, at associations, were effective in the weed control, except the association atrazine + mesotrione.

O trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a deposição da pulverização, assim como a seletividade e eficiência no controle de plantas daninhas de misturas em tanque de herbicidas associadas ou não ao fertilizante foliar Fertiactyl Pós® na cultura do milho. Dois experimentos foram realizados a campo com os híbridos P2530® (convencional) e DKB 330PRO2® (transgênico), na fazenda escola da Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste - UNICENTRO, Campus CEDETEG, Guarapuava-PR, durante a safra agrícola 2016/2017. O delineamento utilizado foi o de blocos ao acaso, com oito tratamentos e cinco repetições, em fatorial 3x2+2. Os fatores foram três misturas de herbicidas com atrazine (ATR) + nicosulfuron (NIC) (1000 + 45 g i.a. ha-1), ATR + mesotrione (MES) (1000 + 144 g i.a. ha-1); ATR + tembotrione (TEM) (1000 + 100,8 g i.a. ha-1), duas condições de associação ou não ao fertilizante foliar Fertiactyl Pós® (FEP) (400 mL ha-1), com testemunhas capinadas e sem capina. A associação de FEP com os herbicidas ATR + NIC, ATR + MES e ATR + TEM não interferiu na deposição da pulverização em milho e erva quente (Spermacoce latifolia), assim como na eficiência de controle de plantas daninhas e produtividade de grãos. O FEP associado as misturas em tanque dos herbicidas apenas apresentou resultado promissor na redução da fitointoxicação visual e manutenção dos níveis de clorofila iniciais na cultura do milho.
