This has been widely proven in resistance to spider mites ( Tetranychus urticae , Andrade et al ., 2017; Rakha et al ., 2017a; de Souza Marinke et al ., 2022), whitefly ( Bemisia tabaci ,Rakha et al ., 2017b; Lucatti et al ., 2013), thrips ( Frankliniella occidentalis ,Escobar-Bravo et al ., 2017), and cabbage looper caterpillar ( Trichoplusia ni ,Mymko and Avila-Sakar, 2019).
