The aim of this study was to determine the school belonging and happiness levels of students from sports faculty according to the department, gender, and grade levels and to find the correlation between happiness and school belonging. Participants consisted of 285 students, 174 males, and 111 females, voluntarily from the teaching, coaching, and sports management departments of the faculty of sports. Data were collected using the Psychological Sense of Membership Scale (PSMS) to determine the school belonging, and the Oxford Happiness Scale (OHS) to measure happiness. The results of the analysis show no significant difference between male and female students in terms of their school belonging and happiness. However, a significant difference was found in the happiness and school belonging levels of students from different departments. In addition, the students of the sports management department have the highest sense of happiness and school belonging compared to the others.

Aim: This study aims to determine how the level of belonging to the school is shaped by individuals studying in different faculties of Kyrgyzstan Turkey Manas University. Material and Methods: Scanning method was used in the research. This research is descriptive and inferential study. The study group of this research consists of 114 female and 97 male participants studying in the Departments of Veterinary, Communication, and Sports Sciences of Kyrgyzstan Turkey Manas University in the 2020-2021 academic year. The study was based on voluntary participation criteria. Personal information form prepared by the researcher and The Scale of Belonging to School were used to collect data. The personal information form consists of questions such as gender, department of education, mother’s education level, father’s education level, hobbies you enjoy, social facility adequacy and monthly income level. In addition, in order to determine the participants sense of belonging to the school; A 5-point Likert-type "Sense of Belonging to School Scale" consisting of 18 items developed by Goodenow (1993) and adapted into Turkish by Sarı (2015) was used. The obtained data were evaluated in computer environment using SPSS 26.0 statistical program. Results: It was concluded that there was no significant difference in the variables of gender, department, mother's education level, father's education level and the hobbies you enjoy, but there was a significant difference in the variables of monthly income and social facility adequacy. Conclusion: It has been concluded that the social facility adequacy and monthly income level variables are the determining factors in shaping the level of belonging to the school of university students. The purpose of this research is to examine secondary school students' belonging to school within the framework of school sports. The study is a descriptive research in scanning model in terms of describing students' belonging to school. The sample of the research consists of 400 secondary school students, 218 girls and 182 boys. The Sense of Belonging to School Scale, which was developed by Goodenow (1993) and adapted to Turkey by Sarı (2011) , was used to collect the research data. The reliability coefficient of the scale, which consists of two sub-dimensions, is R=.86. In the study, a personal information form prepared by the researchers was also used to collect personal information. By using SPSS 21.00 statistical package program in the analysis of the data; Statistical techniques such as descriptive statistics, t-test, and one-way anova test were used. As a result of the research, it was observed that the students in the school sports teams had a higher sense of belonging to the school and a lower level of rejection. It was also observed that the female students felt rejected at a lower level than the boys. It has been observed that students who are interested in individual sports and team sports do not differ in terms of belonging to the school and feeling of rejection.
