2. Kodlama eğitimlerinde eğitsel robot kullanılmayan kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin de bilgi işlemsel düşünme becerileri son test puanlarında uygulama sonunda artış olduğu görülmüştür. 3.Deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin bilgi işlemsel düşünme erişleri karşılaştırıldığında meydana gelen farkın kodlama eğitiminde eğitsel robot kullanılan deney grubu öğrencilerinin lehine olduğu görülmüştür.

“…Similarly, it was found that STEM and coding education were interrelated areas and affected each other. As a result of Yünkül, Durak, Çankaya and Mısırlı (2017) studies, it was found that EĞİTİM TEKNOLOJİSİ Kuram ve Uygulama there was a high level of relationship between computational skill thinking skills and programming skills and that students with high computational thinking skills were also successful in programming. Secondary school students' self-efficacy perception levels for block-based coding education affect (14%) the total variance of the total variance together with the skill level and STEM skill level.…”
The aim of this study was to determine the levels of self-efficacy perceptions, STEM skill levels and computational thinking skills of the 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in the coding training. The study group consisted of 202 students studying in 6, 7 and 8 grades in a secondary school in Amasya city center. A mixed research design was used in the study. Qualitative data were collected by using semi-structured interview form, while the quantitative data of the study were collected by using Self-efficacy Perception Scale of Block Based Programming, Computational Thinking Ability Levels Scale and Basic STEM Skill Levels Scale. The quantitative data obtained were summarized as arithmetic mean, standard deviation, min, max, independent sample t, Anova, Pearson r correlation, regression, and qualitative data were analyzed by Nvivo and the following conclusions were reached. Secondary school students have low levels of self-efficacy perceptions for block-based coding education and have a medium level of computer skills. The students' self-efficacy perception levels for block-based coding education predicted 14% of the total variance together with their computational thinking skills and STEM skill level. Students have interest in robots and robot making.
The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool that measures the attitudes of secondary school students towards coding. The literature related to the items of the measurement tool was scanned, and one open-ended question was asked about what coding means to the ten students about the coding. By using the data obtained, 5-point Likert-type pool with 55 items was created. Factor load values of the items of the scale showed a distribution between .510 and .831. As a result of the content validity, the draft scale which was reduced to 53 items was applied to the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in 675 secondary schools from a total of 8 schools. The KMO value of the developed scale is ,96 and the Bartlett's test value is x2 = 8970.78; sd = 1378 (p <, 01). In item analysis, item-total correlation coefficients of 47 items in single-factor scale ranged from .60 to .76, with differences between the average scores of the upper 27% and the lower 27%. The Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient of the scale was found to be .93. As a result of factor analysis, it was determined that 47 items were collected in one factor and explained 56.75% of the total variance of the scale. According to the confirmatory factor analysis, when the fit indices were examined, it was found that the single factor structure of the scale had an acceptable compliance level. It is thought that the coding attitude scale developed in this study will contribute to the researches.
