Science Education in the Family Environment with the Experimental Method of Facial Cosmetics Plant Fertilization in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era

Abstract: The physical and non-physical family environment is one of the most critical factors in student learning outcomes. This research was assessed using a mixed-method descriptive qualitative and quantitative method to see how the family environment, both physical and non-physical, with experimental science learning was conducted on 60 Junior High School students. The requirements of the respondents in this study were 30 open school students and 30 non-open school students. The results showed that: (a) family invol… Show more

“…The family's physical and non-physical environment dramatically determines and encourages students to optimize experimental science learning methods (Nursetiawati et al, 2020) Based on Table 3, it can be seen that there is a dominant method in relation to environmental education, namely SETS (Science, Technology, Environment, and Society). There are 4 articles that discuss this.…”

“…Many things did achieve these goals, such as creating an active, innovative, creative, and fun learning atmosphere for students for they passionate and fully developed during the learning process (Murnawianto et al, 2019;Nazarieh, 2016;Santi et al, 2019). This COVID-19 pandemic situation requires the creativity and innovation of teachers in designing learning services (Ahied et al, 2020;Juanda et al, 2021;Nursetiawati et al, 2020;Yustina et al, 2020). Distance education encourages students to actively studying independently and able to concept masterys with developing good thinking skills (Ahied et al, 2020;Fikriyah et al, 2020).…”

“…E-learning cannot be implemented easily for all subjects. Research by Nursetiawati et al (2020) states students' obstacles in understanding relatively long lessons, especially for subjects requiring a practicum activity or experiment in understanding concepts, such as physics. Physics is a subject that can be studied by observation, experimentation, and theory (Melinda et al, 2021;Sari & Sunarno, 2018).…”
