“…Increasing self-confidence and satisfaction with the simulation has a protective impact on the level of anxiety, as well as increases the confidence and self-efficacy of patient care. Surely, simulation experiments promote well-articulated learning outcomes, of theory with practice 12,13 . Scientific evidence highlighted the simulation as a strategy that involves learners from different perspectives, making them reflect and reformulate the practice, urging the thinking and doing together 14 .…”

“…In recent years, there is a tendency to use more interactive ways, such as high fidelity simulation, in nursing education. A number of research studies support the use of these methods, as they allow students to experience a more realistic clinical situation, and involve the interplay of academic knowledge, practical skills and communication abilities [18] For instance, in a study by Baptista et al [19], students reported high satisfaction with the realism of high-fidelity simulated practice and better educational gains compared with the medium-fidelity simulation. The use of simulated patients is also becoming a commonly used method in educational practice.…”

“…We found that students in the control group, having higher mean scores and a statistically signi cant relationship, showed that training with low-delity simulation was not a reliable learning experience. Baptista et al (2016) recognized that nursing students think a high-delity simulation helped them to better evaluate the patient and make decisions, and that highdelity simulation was more realistic (49).…”
