Daily transportation activities in various city streets are always filled with two-wheeled vehicles or motorbikes. The decision to use a motorbike considers several things, such us price, quality or durability of the product, ease of use, factors of culture, family, friends and habits. This study aims to reveal how the role of Risk readiness, perceptions of values that influence the decision to use a motorcycle through the user's involvement. The population in this study were motorcycle users in Palembang city who had at least used it for six months. This study uses sample of 201 people with data analysis techniques using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Based on the results of data analysis carried out, it is known that consumer involvement is not an intervening variable between Risk readiness and consumer decisions, and nor between consumer perceptions and consumer decisions. On the contrary, both exogenous variables actually influence consumer decisions directly. Consumer perceptions also do not require deep thinking but directly have an impact on consumers to decide using a motorcycle.

This paper presents an evaluation of angkot, which was conducted to address ergonomic issues related to this mode of transport and to support the development of design recommendations for angkot use by the Indonesian population. This was achieved by carefully investigating the way people sit inside the angkot, modeling and running simulation to assess comfort, and finally proposing a design recommendation that is likely to be more ergonomic and healthy based on the simulation. A contextual inquiry method using video observation was applied to investigate sitting postures that appear most often among passengers. The analysis revealed that the most common sitting postures were sitting fairly upright, with the head facing down to the floor or facing front to the direction of travel; meanwhile, both arms were supported, and both legs were free on the floor. JACK Digital Human Modelling (DHM) software was used to perform Rapid Upper-Limb Assessment (RULA) analysis, which revealed a number of commonly adopted postures that require correction. A new seating layout is proposed based on the analysis and best practices from literature. RULA analysis was reapplied to the design changes to check the anticipated postures that would emerge i.e. passengers are facing towards the front of the bus, which is more likely to be ergonomically better for their comfort and health. This paper also discussed its limitations and potential future works. Future study of similar phenomena is still wide-open to obtain a more thorough comprehension of angkot microbus.

Transportation security is an important part of urban security. Because transport lines are spatial elements that can cause insecure elements to move from one point to another. Although the planning legislation is not directly in terms of transportation security, there are several variables that can be used as a tool for securing the transportation safety in spatial planning construction regulations. Therefore, urban planners play a crucial role in securing transportation security. The purpose of this study is; proposing an existing or proposal planning tool that can be used to provide transportation security; researchers are encouraging these tools to perform scientific work that they can. As a result, safer and therefore more livable environments will be created in terms of transportation. The spatial planning tools that can be used for transportation and traffic safety, which are components of urban security, constitute the scope of this study. Within the scope of the study, firstly, the way of handling transportation and traffic safety will be explained in the literature; suggestions will be made about which means of urban planning discipline can solve traffic. This work; focuses on the city planners from the profession areas in question; proposes and debates planning tools that can be used to ensure transportation safety; the nature of work and the contribution of the science.
