Rochagem Como Alternativa Sustentável Para a Fertilização De Solos

Show more

“…In this context, due to the concern that encompasses environmental preservation and increase in production cost, soil remineralizers have been studied as an alternative source of nutrients (RAMOS et al, 2017;ZHANG et al, 2018;AGUILERA et al, 2020;SILVA et al, 2020, ALMEIDA et al, 2022. Remineralizers are agricultural inputs (BRASIL, 2013;2016) capable of improving the physical-chemical properties of the soil through the release of macro Contribuciones a Las Ciencias Sociales, São José dos Pinhais, v.16, n.1, p.460-478, 2023 jan. 2021 and micronutrients (RAMOS et al, 2017;BRITO et al, 2019;ALOVISI et al, 2020) alternative to chemical fertilizers. However, their large-scale use in agriculture faces great challenges due to the difficult solubilization (WHITE et al, 2017) and low content of soluble nutrients (COLA & SIMÃO, 2012) when compared to chemical fertilizers, generating controversies regarding their ability to minimize the cost of production while maintaining crop yield.…”

“…In this context, a greater number of research related to the use of rock powders has been realized, with the objective to evaluate the ability of these sources to substitute or complement other soluble and/or organic sources. According to Theodoro et al (2012) and Alovisi et al (2020), the rock powder application can be easily adopted by family farmers, due to its simplicity, low cost of use and positive results in terms of grain yield. However, the main limitation is the slow solubilization and release of nutrients to the plants, with a source being less responsive when compared to short-term soluble mineral sources (Ferreira, Almeida, Mafra & 2009;Hanish et al, 2013;Gotz et al, 2019;Gotz, Piovesan & Castamann, 2020;Alovisi et al, 2020).…”
