“…In the present investigation residues of endosulfan with a mean concentration of 0.0492 mg/kg were recorded. It would be worthwhile to mention here that endosulfan too, like DDT and HCH, excreted through milk in milch animals following ingestion of contaminated feed and fodder (Nag et al 2007) although the transfer coefficient (the percentage of daily intake of a pesticide excreted in milk each day) in case of endosulfan was very low (0.23-0.33%) as compared to DDT (*5%) and HCH (3-36% depending on the isomer). The presence and concentration of HCH, DDT and other OCP residues in milk in the context of present study indicate that though the frequency and level has considerably decreased over the past records of particularly India but still the contamination exists albeit in low scale.…”

“…(), Nag et al . () and other have established its secretion into the milk by the way of detection of residues in milk. Surprisingly, none of the cow milk samples revealed detectable levels of endosulphan after areal spray in Kasargode, Kerala, India (Ramesh and Vijayalakshmi ).…”

“…The dosages of acetochlor were set as 0.45, 1.35 and 4.05 g per day for the three treatment groups, in which we have made some modications on the basis of others' researches. 23,24 Acetochlor (purity 90%) (Lebont Chemicals Co., LTD Shandong, China) was placed in the water bowl, and drunk by cows through plastic jugs connected to normal drinking water nipples.…”
