“…Countries with the greatest extent of land under olive groves are Istrian country with 3,648 ha and Split-Dalmatia county with 4,898 ha (APPRRR, 2017) [73]. Some additional figures provide further evidence of the interest in the oleotourism experience and the number of initiatives recently developed; indeed, previous research (Čehić et al, 2020) [10] showed-among other things-a high number of farms open to visitors, museums, and roads, as in the Table 8. The efforts performed by farmers are mirrored in international recognitions, as mentioned above, with awards given in international fairs and by an international association for organic olive oils.…”
