Short body dwarfism linked to disturbances in bone formation as the dietary Mn deficiency sign had been reported in rainbow trout (Ogino and Yang, 1980;Yamamoto et al, 1983), common carp (Satoh et al, 1992) and gibel carp (Pan et al, 2008).
