Repressive effects of red bean, Phaseolus angularis, extracts on obesity of mouse induced with high-fat diet via downregulation of adipocyte differentiation and modulating lipid metabolism

Abstract: Obesity is generally caused by quantitative changes in adipocyte differentiation and fat metabolism. Only a few studies have been determined the effect of red beans extract on obesity and plasma cholesterol concentration. We have been studied the functional activities of red-bean extracts including anti-oxidative effect against DNA and cell damages. Histological study including micro CT analysis showed that the accumulation of fat in hepatocytes and intestines was significantly decreased in red bean extract tr… Show more

“…Moringa oleifera Lamarck is well known for its diverse medicinal and nutritional properties which belongs to the family Moringaceae (Anwar et al, 2007). The plant leaves are commonly used to treat cancer, type 2 diabetes mellitus, downregulation of adipocyte differentiation, and cardiovascular diseases (Park et al, 2018; Verma et al, 2009). Beyond its role in the regulation of blood lipids, the anti‐atherogenic, anti‐inflammatory, and anti‐oxidative actions of M. oleifera have also been used in the synthesis of silver nanoparticles for investigating the anti‐cancer properties (Vasanth et al, 2014).…”

“…The parameters of U , P , and E indicate energy, polarization, and electric field, respectively. It is obvious that the local derivate d U /d P shows a negative slope at a specific range, and thus the negative capacitance behavior can be observed in this versatile memory …”
