Registros do futebol feminino na revista Placar: 30 anos de história

Abstract

REsumoPropomos com esse escrito apresentar uma história do futebol feminino contada pela revista Placar entre os anos de 1980 -2010. Para tanto, foram utilizadas 23 revistas que estão apresentadas no corpo do texto subdivididas em três décadas. A primeira década de 1980-1990 apresenta resquícios evidentes do Decreto-Lei 3.199, e dessa forma, a revista se esforça para apresentar jogadoras em poses ou ações que lembrem a normatividade de gênero, nesse período, surge o E. C. Radar, que ficou conhecido como a equipe mais vitoriosa do futebol feminino brasileiro. A década seguinte é marcada por eventos internacionais e a dicotomia na veiculação de informações e imagens de mulheres futebolistas e de modelos que jogavam o futebol. Já a década que abrange os anos de 2000-2010, fica marcada pelo bom desempenho em eventos internacionais e o anseio da profissionalização, que permanece um pouco distante de se tornar realidade.

Revisão crítica da literatura brasileira sobre as coberturas jornalísticas esportivas do futebol feminino

“…Os artigos analisados caracterizam-se como documentais, pois os materiais empíricos coletados pelos autores foram matérias jornalísticas esportivas. Martins e Moraes 14 utilizaram a Folha de S. Paulo e O Estado de São Paulo, Ferretti, Zuzzi, Viana e Vilha Júnior 15 e Gabriel e Freitas Júnior 19 , a Folha de S. Paulo, Salvini e Marchi Júnior 16,17 , a revista Placar, Goellner, Silva e Botelho-Gomes 18 , A Bola, Recorde, O Jogo On-line e o Norte Desportivo. Esse tipo de pesquisa apresenta singularidade quanto a natureza das fontes, que podem ser de primeira ou segunda mão.…”

Fifty Years of Women’s Football in Placar: From Disallowed Goals to Winning at Home?

“…Another starting point in this study is the understanding that media representations have repercussions on daily behaviours, with the role of the mass media central in "promoting and reinforcing sexist ideas about women" evident since at least the 1960s (DOUGLAS, 2019, p. 37). “…Since the rapid growth in the study of sports media since the turn of the millennium, Placar's undisputed status as Brazil's top sports magazine, with a focus on Brazilian football throughout its existence, has made it an attractive object of study, greatly facilitated by the existence of a digital catalogue of almost all editions between 1970 and 2010, and, most recently, a Placar app 3 . Studies by Saldanha (2009), Saldanha and Goellner (2013), by Salvini and Marchi Júnior (2013a, 2013b and by Silva (2015) provide a solid base on which to consider the representation of women's football in the magazine, although only Silva considers the period of prohibition that will be the focus of this study, the others concentrating instead on later periods.…”
