Randomized clinical trial of suture repair, polypropylene mesh or autodermal hernioplasty for incisional hernia

Abstract: Suture repair was safe for small incisional hernias. Both autoplastic and alloplastic hernia repair yielded comparably low recurrence rates, but led to a high rate of wound infection.
