Raman spectroscopy at the beginning of the twenty‐first century

Abstract: This paper gives a summary of the Wolfgang Kiefer Honorary Issue of the Journal of Raman Spectroscopy. The contributions in this special issue convincingly demonstrate the great applicability of Raman spectroscopy for almost all natural sciences, making this technique one of the most essential laser spectroscopic methods.
