Racionality and Suffering: Men and Healthcare Practices

Abstract: RESUMO:Foram identificadas e analisadas as representações sociais de saúde e doença entre 218 homens adultos a fim de discutir possíveis impactos dessas em suas práticas de autocuidado. Os participantes responderam à técnica de associação livre com base nos termos indutores "saúde" e "doença". Os dados foram tratados pelo software EVOC.
