“…Esse contexto submete populações de grande parte do semiárido brasileiro a condições de vulnerabilidade hídrica, no qual, geralmente, o consumo de água em centros urbanos menos desenvolvidos não realiza análises hidroquímicas abrangentes, enquanto em comunidades rurais, a população recorre ao consumo de águas salobras destinadas anteriormente à dessedentação animal, como estratégia de convivência com a escassez hídrica (Lopes et al, 2020;Damasceno et al, 2021). Além de soluções locais, trabalhos de análise e interpretação de amostras de águas superficiais e subterrâneas, e as relações entre suas características hidroquímicas e o arcabouço geológico são utilizados como ferramenta de reconhecimento de processos de salinização derivados da interação água-rocha, o que permite o acesso de populações rurais a águas de melhor qualidade no semiárido do Nordeste brasileiro (Valcarcel Rojas et al, 2020). Em linha gerais, apenas a salinidade é abordada como critério para uso humano ou irrigação, eventualmente acarretando na utilização de águas inadequadas ao consumo em razão do desconhecimento de suas características hidroquímicas de forma mais ampla.…”
