Objective: To understand the feelings, senses, perceptions and perspectives of Users regarding access to vaccination in Primary Health Care. Method: This is a Holistic-Qualitative Multiple Case Study, based on Comprehensive Sociology of Everyday Life with 74 participants representing four microregions of health in the Western Extended Region of Minas Gerais. Data collection occurred between June 2016 and April 2017. In order to analyse the data, we used the Thematic Content Analysis, obeying the technique of cross-synthesis of the cases. Results: The results reveal the senses perceived by Users in the experience of vaccination and the feelings regarding care, showing that interpersonal relations between population and health professionals are determinant in the access to vaccination. The constant expansion of the official immunization schedule increased access, however, geographical and social aspects, the lack of knowledge about vaccination and the recurrent lack of immunobiological were referred to as barriers to immunization access. Final considerations: We emphasized the need to reinforce more equitable policies and effective communication as a means to promote the credibility of the services with Users.

Objectives: to understand vaccination as a scheduled demand and access to this demand in a day in the life of health services, from the perspective of users. Methods: holistic-qualitative multiple case study, based on the Quotidian Comprehensive Sociology, with 74 users from four health microregions of the Extended Western Region of Minas Gerais State. Results: scheduling vaccination demand in a day in the life of services is compromised by the fragility in data record, by computerized systems underutilization and by the loss of the immunization tracking card, resulting in missed opportunities of immunization and unnecessary revaccinations. The Primary Health Care team’s non-involvement also compromised access to this action. Final Considerations: there is a need for more effort to be dispensed with for the effective use of computerized systems and Permanent Education of professionals in order to take advantage of all the opportunities of orientations and referrals of users to the vaccination room.

Entre as ferramentas de prevenção no contexto da saúde pública, a vacinação merece destaque. Recentemente, entretanto, as imunizações passaram a enfrentar grandes obstáculos em território nacional, com o aumento dos índices de certas doenças infecciosas e a heterogeneidade da cobertura vacinal nas diferentes regiões brasileiras. Dessa forma, este estudo objetiva conhecer a cobertura das vacinas recomendadas pelo Ministério da Saúde para adolescentes, adultos e idosos, no município de Marabá, no período de 2015 à 2020. Trata-se de um estudo observacional, transversal e descritivo, onde foram entrevistados funcionários das salas de vacina das UBS (Unidade Básica de Saúde) da zona urbana de Marabá. Os dados foram coletados através de um questionário previamente elaborado pelos pesquisadores e por meio de informações advindas do Departamento de Informática do Sistema Único de Saúde (DATASUS). A pesquisa ofereceu riscos quanto à perda de sigilo de informações e constrangimento por parte dos entrevistados e a transmissão e adoecimento pelo novo coronavírus. Os resultados mostraram uma cobertura vacinal média de 57,49% no período e lugar avaliado; evidenciou-se ausência de dados sobre a cobertura das vacinas contra influenza e HPV; as meninas se vacinaram mais que os meninos contra HPV, segundo doses aplicadas; a falta de conhecimento sobre a importância da vacinação foi o principal motivo para a não adesão deste público à vacinação, segundo os profissionais das salas de vacina. Estudos comparativos corroboraram as hipóteses e apoiaram estratégias de ampliação elencados por tais funcionários e destacaram baixas porcentagens de cobertura vacinal em vários locais brasileiros. É inegável a necessidade de intensificação das campanhas vacinais, a fim de proporcionar maior atração e conscientização do público alvo.
