Productivity of growing rabbits for use of forrage with different zinc content

Abstract: The results of studies on the optimal level of zinc, which are additionally introduced into feed for rabbits grown for meat, are presented. Experimental researches were conducted in the conditions of the problematic research laboratory of feed additives of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. A scientific and economic experiment was carried out on young rabbits of HYLA hybrids of the French company EUROLAP. The study was conducted by group method. In the 42-day age, 60 rabbits… Show more

“…Modern breeds of farm animals and poultry, selected for their high growth rate and egg production, are more sensitive to a variety of stressors. They require the introduction of high levels of vitamins and trace elements into the diet to realize their genetic potential (Dozier et al (2003); Miles et al (2003); Gheisari et al (2011); Shahzad et al (2012); Vasanth et al (2015); ; ; Pozniakovskyi et al (2018). The main directions of modern approaches to the study of the normalization of the physiological potential of animals / birds are a development of optimal conditions of confinement with limitation of adverse environmental factors, breeding work for the creation of rocks with high immunological status and pharmacological correction with the use of drugs of relevant pharmacological groups.…”

“…Варто зазначити, що при відсадці кроленят від кролиць у перші два тижні їх самостійного життя їм згодовують ті ж самі корми, які вони одержували в підсисний період. Новий корм до їхнього раціону вводять поступово, замінюючи не більше ніж його третину (Bala et al, 2009;Vakulenko et al, 2016;Pozniakovskyi et al, 2018;Boiko et al, 2020Boiko et al, , 2021Fedorchenko, 2021;Lesyk et al, 2022;Gutyj et al, 2023).…”

“…One was the control group (basal diet with a Zn-free vitamin-mineral premix). The zinc treatments were supplemented to a basal diet at a 50 mg/kg level with zinc oxide (ZnO, as inorganic source), Zn-methionine (Zn-Met, as organic source) and zinc oxide nanoparticles (nano-ZnO) as the dose recommended according to Pozniakovskyi et al, (2018). All Zn sources were obtained from Sigma Company, Egypt.…”
