Pressão arterial elevada, excesso de peso e obesidade abdominal em crianças e adolescentes

Abstract: O objetivo deste estudo foi verificar a frequência de pressão arterial elevada em meninos e meninas de 10 a 16 anos de idade, analisando sua associação com o excesso de peso corporal e a obesidade abdominal. Foram avaliadas 764 crianças e adolescentes (365 meninos e 399 meninas) provenientes de cinco escolas da rede pública de Curitiba.
